Widuchowa, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Widuchowa ((ドイツ語:Fiddichow)) is a village in Gryfino County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Widuchowa.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It lies approximately south-west of Gryfino and south of the regional capital Szczecin.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement.
